Reliance industries to invest in Odisha

         The Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance industries, Mr.Mukesh Ambani plans to invest about 3000 crores in Odisha to take the power of digital in nook and corner of the state over the next three years.
He announced this in Make in Odisha Conclave 2018, with an aim to create Odisha's digital infrastructure.

         The Reliance group has previously invested over 6000 crores for the make in Odisha mission and it is one of the largest investors in the state. Reliance plans to connect the entire state with its Jio network  that has already connected all the cities and 43,000 villages. Ambani told that the Reliance and Jio are dependable partners to make the new Odisha vision.
        The company believes that the digital method will transform all the sectors in the country. Jio network leads in contributing to the digital India vision by making India, the fastest digitising economy in the world. The Reliance industries has also created both direct and indirect employment opportunities to over 30000 people in Odisha.
        The company also works with the government in "Mission Shakthi" initiative to bring together several lakhs of women in digital mainstream.Moreover, Reliance foundation-Odisha Athletic Centre has been proposed to set up to train local athletes by experts to make them a Olympic medal winner.  Ambani concluded his speech by assuring to make Odisha the globalised region in India like the past.
