E-commerce Giant Amazon India

Amazon India 's fulfillment centre in Bangalore:

     Amazon India being an e-commerce giant has more than 50 fulfillment centres all over the 13 states in the country with the storage capacity of 20 million cubic feet.
       Making a milestone, Amazon has now opened the largest fulfillment centre in Karnataka-Tamilnadu border,near Bangalore, on Sep 18, in a view to enhance customer experience and serve better during festive season.The company, now, has a storage space of about 3.5 million cubic feet in the state.

       Amazon India has reduced the commission for sellers as 2% for apparel,home and other accessories.Amazon's 3,80000 sellers have got the opportunity to select the number of products to be stored by Amazon. Recently,Amazon conducted the flagship seller conference "Amazon Connect" to help the sellers in selecting right tools and provide training. About 300 sellers attended the conference and over 2000 sellers attended virtually through live broadcast.

Amazon crosses $1Trillion value:
        Amazon company shares have rose to as much as 1.9% making the company reach to a clvalue of $1 trillion, becoming the second company next to the milestone,Apple Inc.


        Jeff Bezos founded the company Amazon as a small online book seller.Now Bezos is  world's richest, making the company a diversified global enterprise with $200 billion annual sales and about 5,75,000 employees.Theost notable thing in this is, Amazon has reached this success within three years making the shares tripled.

Blooming Aviation Industry

India's plan of airport construction:

       India's aviation Industry has seen a tremendous growth recently and has seen a double digit traffic growth in 50 months. Now plans to construct about 100 airports within 10-15years witha cost estimation of USD 60billion which is about 4.2 lakh crores in rupees.

         The aviation Minister, Mr.Suresh Babu said that the airports are going to beconstructed through public private partnership.The Government puts their attention in cargo policy.As per global airlines group, IATA, India would emerge as the world'sthird largest air passenger market overtaking Germany,Spain,Japan and UK.

     As per the news of Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India, all the general insurers are strictly ordered to follow the changes in Third party insurance as per the rule of Supreme court orders. The insurance companies will give a cover for over 3-5 years which has a bundle of third partyo insurance as well as own damage insurance.


     This has a great impact on car and bike buyers making the cost of cars and bikes costlier.It is expected to increase RS.24,000 for a new car and Rs.13000 for buying a new bike which is to be on effect from Sep 1,2018.
       And finally, what is third party insurance? It is a type of liability insurance in which the insurance providing company guards the insurers from the claims of third party  due to the loss or damage caused by us to their property.

New rule for online pharmacies

Health Ministry Vs Online pharmacies:

     The use of online pharmacies, otherwise called as  E-pharmacies has been a tremendous increase in the recent says.Though it is less than 0.5% of the retail pharmacy landscape currently ,it is growing at a faster rate.


      Therefore, the health Ministry of India has set certain rules for the sale of online drugs. The newly drafted rules insist the online pharmacies to be registered under Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) and they should also obtain a trade licence from any state Government whish is applicable across India. The pharmacies can register with the Central Licensing Authority through the online portal of Central government.
        Moreover, the online pharmacies should maintain a health record of the patients and  medicines to be sold only when there is prescription.Also, there should be strictly confidentiality in the informations provided by the patients. Online pharmacy should maintain grievance redressal facility too. The sale of certain drugs like  narcotics, tranquilizers and psychotropic drugs are banned.

New chairman of HAL

    
        Hindustan Aeronautics limited is the state-owned Indian aerospace and defence company , headquartered in Bangalore. Mr.R.Madhavan took the charge as the new chairman and also Managing Director of HAL , succeeding Mr.Suvarna Raju for the next five years.

         Madhavan was previously the Executive Director of HAL's accessories division in Lucknow. Madhavan joined Hindustan aeronautics as a Management trainee in 1982.His excellence in diversified skills helped him in getting key positions within HAL.
         Madhavan has set a goal to emphasise on the core competencies of the company and make HAL, the most preferred  and wanted supplier in the aerospace industry. He has also contributed to the 'Make in India' drive by developing MSME (Micro, small and medium Enterprises) vendors.
