Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated the International cricket stadium in Lucknow today, which is named after the former Prime Minister ,Barat Ratna, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.The deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh sharma, Sports Minister Chauhan and Congress leader Rajeev Shukla attended the inaugural function. Adityanath addressed that he would promote sports in both rural and urban areas. The international statium was started during Samajwadi party regime and was built through public private partnership mode.It was previously named as Ekana International cricket stadium.
