Govindan Lakshman disqualified:
The Indian army runner, Govindan Lakshmanan missed a bronze medal in men's 10,000 metres in the 18th Asian Games 2018.He stripped off the medal for stepping out of the track in finals. It would have been the first Asian games medal for the event for aindia,after 2 decades. But he was disqualified for touching the track.
Hassan Chani of Bahrain won the gold medal.Abraham Cheroben took the silver medal and China's Changhong took the bronze medal.The Allthleric Federation of India has lodged a complaint against the decision taken on Lakshmanan.
