After the Supreme court's rejection on probe into Rafale deal, the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar accused the Congress party for sabotaging the country's security by giving an opposition on purchase of 36 fighter jets from France. Rahul Gandhi, President of Congress party, has be continuously claiming for the procedural irregularities in the Rafale deal.
The HRD Minister while addressing the reporters in convocation ceremony of GOA University, told that, the Congress party is still persistent with their demand. He added that the Supreme court has given a clear chit to the deal stating that no further investigation is needed on the issue exposing the falsehood of the Congress party. He also said that the only aim of Congress is to stop the deal which would weaken the security preparedness of the country, which the government will not allow to happen. He accused the Congress for not closing the purchase agreement while it was in power and for delaying the deal upto 7years till 2014. Javadekar emphasised that Rahul Gandhi should apologise to the country, defence forces and the parliament for his continuous allegations on the deal.
